Exhibitions

Welcome to my website where you'll find some of my art and activities both old and new. Before coming to art, I was a BBC correspondent and presenter for 20 years, working on news assignments around the world for TV and radio. There's plenty of evidence of this in my art. Although I sell some art, I prefer to make person-specific-art. Art that takes that relationship and thereby fuses the two parties in a joint endeavour. As a result of ill-health, after 8 years, I have sadly had to close my beloved studio The Flying Pig on Canterbury Road in Whitstable. This has also led to a greater focus on my writing. During the Covid Pandemic I have written a book about Miss Joan Rhodes a close personal friend and famous strong-woman whose amazing performances entertained pauper and princes alight from the 1940's to 70's. The book is entitled An Iron Girl in a Velvet Glove and is due for publication on 11th November 2021 by The History Press https://www.thehistorypress.co.uk/publication/an-iron-girl-in-a-velvet-glove/9780750999229/ If you want to know more please just follow me by clicking on one of the icons or contact me on info@trionaworks.com or .
